From “save this” to “let’s try this.”
Save an ad, compare your shortlist, and turn selected references into a Playbook for your next test.
- Step 1
Find an ad worth keeping
Browse the Meta Ad Library. Copy an ad’s link and paste it into Add ad, or save it through the SwipeTrove browser extension. Only save content you’re allowed to use.
- Step 2
Write down what caught your eye
Open the saved ad and add a quick note beside it. You can add a hook, offer, and other details later. Changes normally save automatically; check the saved status before closing. If saving fails or a recovered draft appears, review it and choose Save note.
- Step 3
Bring related ideas together
Add ads to a collection for your next campaign or client. Use tags to find patterns across collections. Save a filtered view when you find a search you’ll use again.
- Step 4
Compare before you decide
Select two to four ads and choose Compare. Review the media, your notes, and each ad’s breakdown side by side. Decide what you want to try in your own work.
- Step 5
Turn the shortlist into a Playbook
In your collection, choose the references that support your recommendation. Explain what you would adapt, then write a next test and success criterion. Private drafts are included on Free. With Pro, preview a recipient handoff and share or export only the selected evidence; notes and tags require explicit inclusion.
- Step 6
Keep the lesson for your next decision
With Pro, manually record what you tested, the result, a lesson, and what you would change next. These learning entries stay private and are excluded from recipient handoffs. You supply the results; SwipeTrove does not automatically track campaign performance. After a downgrade, existing work remains readable and available in your personal-data export.
